Recorded live on mobile phone at Upper Partialism #21 at Unite, Brisbane, Monday 2 July 2018.

Coalfalls chemical comedown is an exploration of noise guitar and electronic beats set to amalgamated field recordings. The main field recording captures two mobile phone recordings of a late afternoon storm as heard from the front and back decks of our home in Ipswich. Inserted into this is a two minute capture of the brutality of tree destruction observed one morning walking across an Ipswich bridge.

Our intention is to provide a focussed listening experience that contrasts the beauty of our natural environment with the harsh impact of humankind.

The field recording used in the performance is included with download.
